Present: R. Berry, P. Canary, T. Danford, M. Grubor R. Honeman, R. Jennette, V. Larson, R. Lucki, G. Pickett (presiding), D. Poffenberger, S. Rychlicki, A. Secreto, P. Sharma, C. Stokes, C. Teaff, T. Vavra.

Excused: A. Thompson (sabbatical leave)

Guests: T. Craig

G. Pickett called the meeting to order at 1:05 p.m. in Culinary Arts, Wheeling Regional Campus. All senate and senate executive committee minutes, as well as draft policies under discussion, are available on the Senate web page: http://www.northern.wvnet.edu/~tdanford/senate.

Information Items/Agenda Items for Senate: These topics were discussed and approved for inclusion on the Senate meeting agenda to be held following this meeting - class delay, class cancellations, academic calendar, enrollment, staff/faculty registration "errors", and policies under discussion.

Reports: The committee delayed hearing reports from the committees until the full Senate meeting.

Other: G. Pickett reported that the new tutoring coordinator has been hired. Her schedule precluded attending today, but he hopes she can come to the February meeting.

Adjournment: With no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:55 p.m. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the executive committee is Friday, 19 February 1999, at 2:00 p.m. in Culinary Arts, HA, Wheeling Regional Campus.
